Increased Garbage Service Charges
Miva is proposing an increase in the rate of household waste by 3,1% for 2012 to maintain the good service to consumers.
Under the terms of tariff, Miva has the right to raise rates in sanitation indices which would mean a 5 % increase by 2012. Since Miva has already implemented these measures, the ongoing rationalisation proposes an increase by a lower amount. The municipal council is proposing to approve the change.
